HapPy gO moonshine cherries! That was pretty much the theme for the entire weekend! We had a blast at the Pismo Vintage Trailer Rally. The weather was gorgeous, the trailers were awesome, but for me it was about the people. I made two new friends I'd like to introduce you to, Len, a talented artist, and Lisa, editor at Vintage Trailer Magazine. Meet Len Nordmann. He has been making a living for 65 years by creating art. He said at the age of 10 when he sold his first piece of art he got the bug and has never looked back! He travels all over the United States drawing vintage trailers and cars. I love my Len Nordmann original. Coming soon on a t-shirt! Lisa and I started chatting in the bathroom of all places and I invited her over to our campsite for dinner. She arrived with this lovely bottle of moonshine cherries she had picked up along Route 66 and the rest is history! Nice dinner with friends and of course PIE! This year Wayne made the delicious pies! Saturday morning starts off with a bike parade around the trailer park! Ready for the open house! HapPy gO SmiLe pop up shop! HapPy gO gO! Lisa's darling trailer, Rosie and her Hudson that she has driven all the way across Route 66 with Sister's On The Fly! A few more photos of my favorite trailers and new friends! This is my friend Carl's trailer (or Carol) from Tinker Tin Trailer Co. What a great block party you guys put on Saturday night! Evil was at the party and a few of my favorite Sister's On The Fly! After the Pismo trailer show we took HapPy gO gO out to Cayucos for Lisa to photograph for the July cover of Vintage Trailer Magazine! I'm so grateful to these two guys right here, Jeri and Rick. I have my beautiful trailer, Happy gO gO because they worked 52 Sunday's to restore her. Thank you Guys! XOXO Life is an adventure! I'm inspired by my new friends, Len & Lisa, who are living the life they love by making a living following their passions. Until we meet again...Barb & Betsey

We just returned from Trailerfiesta in Petaluma, California. What a fun trailer show! The theme was carried out all weekend throughout the show, from a pinata making contest to mariachi bands! We headed out early Thursday morning. The 7 hour trip took us through San Francisco, across the Golden Gate Bridge to Petaluma. Sweet donkeys greeted us as we arrived at the KOA Camp. Everyone was in the spirit, even Betsey! Some people made pinatas to match their trailers! Here are a few of my favorite trailers. Enjoy! You know we must have pie! I was so excited to ad to my vintage cherry collection a pie tin! The trailers are amazing, but the people you meet make the show! I wore my Jill Dufau jacket and everyone went nuts! She will be at the Three Speckled Hens Show May 6-7, at the Paso Robles Fairgrounds. We had such a great time I forgot to wax! Next stop the Pismo Beach Vintage Trailer Rally May 20! The public is invited to the Open House from 10-3. Hope to see you there! HapPy gO SmiLe pop up shop! Remember to always always take the scenic route home. We took HWY 1 from San Francisco to Santa Cruz. Make sure to stop at Swanton Berry Farm in Davenport along the way! Adventure on friends...Love, Barb & Betsey
