RED
SEA GLASS!
This was a gift from my dear friend Dawnee!
It's all about the hunt! One of those things you do when time just passes by and you have no idea how long you have been walking the beach. Every step you take you search for a little sparkle of color. Sea glass can be found in many colors....blue, green, white and brown are the most common. Yellow, orange, and purple glass are pretty rare. But, the rarest is RED! This photo was taken last year at the Cayucos Sea Glass Festival. It's beautiful to display in glass jars or with candles! I love the way the light shines through this candle! My favorite glass of all..... RED SEA GLASS! This was a gift from my dear friend Dawnee! My biggest, most treasured piece of glass. It is a glass tail light from an old car!

Surrounded by LoVe! Everywhere you look in this house there are hearts....thousands of hearts...so many you could not even count all of them! Here are a few of my favorites! Hearts on the walls...... Books about hearts..... Food in the shape of hearts! pillows & quilts...... I'm off to New York to celebrate 49! The 9th annual Hearts events - HEROES & HEARTS and HEARTS AFTER DARK is happening February 13, 2014. Funds raised from the events helps subsidize the Hearts Grants program at San Francisco General Hospital. If you are interested in attending please see their website www.sfghf.net My daughter, Natellie and I had the honor of attending in 2011. These beautiful heart sculptures are created by SF Bay Area artists and then auctioned off each year to raise money for SFGH. The hearts are then displayed all over San Francisco for the month of February. Some hearts are permanent, like this one at Union Square. The olive heart can be found outside of MoMo's! "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched-they must be felt with the heart", Helen Keller Oh how Barb loves RED!
